Garakis - Vidiano
This elegant Vidiano undergoes classic white vinification with a controlled fermentation temperature. The wine is aged for three months on the lees, with weekly bâtonnage, giving it added complexity and a creamy texture. In addition, 30% of the wine is aged for three months in new French oak barrels, contributing to subtle oak notes and a full structure.
The aroma reveals ripe stone fruit aromas like apricot and peach, refined with delicate hints of vanilla and almond. The grapes come from a 4-hectare vineyard in the Ruses region of the village of Kounavoi, creating a unique expression of terroir.
This rich and complex wine pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, salmon in butter sauce, mushroom risotto, or lobster dishes. Decant for optimal flavor. Serve at 10-12°C.
